Academy of Art University NYFW show, talks about the 21st runway showcase on September 9, 2017, organized by the Academy of Art University. The runway showcase provided students the opportunity to show off their latest works to current and potential mentors, friends, family, and the entire world. This year, ten very diverse MFA and BFA students received that opportunity to present their vision on the future of fashion.

Their mission is that the, “Academy of Art University prepares aspiring professionals in the fields of design, communication, and the arts by delivering excellent undergraduate and graduate degrees and certificate and portfolio development programs.” This mission has been repeatedly upheld by the university.
The Academy of Art University holds over 70+ student and alumni art shows and exhibits throughout San Francisco. Through these various opportunities, the Academy of Art university has helped students, such as Whitney Martin who graduated in ‘95 and became a storyboard artist on the hit series, King of the Hill. Diego Galtieri, graduated in ‘03 and won an Emmy for his work on the show, Heroes. These are just a couple of students that have managed to hit their goal with the help of the Academy of Art University.

The Academy of Art’s belief in “no barrier admission” has allowed them to gather a diverse body of students and alumni; the school’s population represents over 112 countries. Dr. David Samadi Branches Out With A Live Medical Show

It was announced that the Chairman of Urology and Chief of Robotic Surgery at Lenox Hospital, Dr. David Samadi, will have his own live broadcast show. “Sunday Housecall with Dr. David Samadi” began airing in September and it features information about a variety of trending topics, medical stories, guest medical experts and exercise, food and diet and health and treatment tips. During the live broadcast, viewers can either email or call-in questions to be answered on air.
